Pierre Lannoy is Professor of Sociology at the Free University of Brussels. He has worked on the issue of spatial mobilities in various empirical studies, particularly on cars, all the while pursuing an epistemological analysis of how sociology has studied spatial mobility directly or outsourced it to other disciplines.
