Johannes Volden (b. 14 Oct 1995) is a PhD Candidate at University of Oslo’s Centre for Development and the Environment, where he also completed his M.Phil. in the interdisciplinary Development, Environment, and Cultural Change (DECC) programme. He started the programme in 2017 and completed his thesis submission in 2019. The thesis was supervised by Dr. Arve Hansen – himself a recipient of the New Voices Award 2017 – and co-supervised by Dr. Odin Lysaker.
